Transforming Parental Guilt, Doubt, and Anxiety

Parenting is hard, What we read about and strive to be isn’t really the norm of everyday existence. We have to make a lot of decisions, and we want to make sure we are making the best ones at any given moment, in any situation. We stay up at night thinking about the best choice, wanting to do right by our children. We can either feel like we’re messing up or not doing enough.

We can feel doubt, guilt, fear, or anxiety, and these feelings make it even harder. What if we were able to transform these feelings into nuggets of wisdom that help us make the best choice possible? What if we allowed these feelings to be our guides instead of our hindrances?

Join me on November 2, from 7-8:30 pm, in-person or online to find new ways of approaching these particular times and situations.

This workshop is for you if you’re a parent and you are:

  • Juggling between many roles and responsibilities.

  • Want to navigate parenting decisions with more ease.

  • Want to learn how to care for yourself without guilt.

In this workshop we will:

  • Transform the “negative” feelings that accompany parenting into your inner parenting guide.

  • Discuss how to find our footing in any decision, no matter how complicated the situation.

  • Make a compelling case for taking the time to fill your own cup.

This is an interactive gathering, there will be teaching, guided practices, and ample time for discussion and Q/A. We’ll end with some stretches and postures that help ground the learning and your nervous system. You’ll leave with more clarity and a community of other parents in a similar boat.

Bring your own yoga mat or borrow one from the studio. We will sit on bolsters (let us know if you need a chair instead).

She loves nothing more than to see others become empowered within themselves to make the right decision that feels true for them.

She works with parents with children of all ages/stages to not only parent from an empowered place, but also guide their little people to do the same. She facilitates discussions with heart and seeks to teach others to do so, in any circumstance that life throws our way.

Parent Guilt (Post Covid Edition)

As parents, we have to make a lot of decisions be it big, small, easy, or difficult. And we want to make sure we are making the best decision at any given moment, in any situation. We stay up at night thinking about the best choice, wanting to do right by our children. It’s not easy being a parent and it’s even harder considering everything that’s been changing and shifting in the last couple of years. Stress levels have risen, and trying to do everything all at once has been incredibly taxing.

Join us on October 19, from 7-8:30 pm, in person or online to find new ways of approaching these particular times and situations.

This workshop is for you if you’re a parent who:

  • Is transitioning back to a new normal and trying to navigate it as best you can.

  • Want to support your kids who are making similar transitions in school or elsewhere in their lives.

  • Want to learn how to care for yourself without guilt.

In this workshop we will:

  • Discuss how to find our footing in this new reality, a place to turn to within, or where to seek support outside.

  • Reframe “parent guilt” in a way that both validates your concern and helps you make empowered decisions.

  • Make a compelling case for taking the time to fill your own cup.
